CNN's Jim Acosta was greeted at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday with chants that his network “sucks” and asked about scant coverage of the Andrew Cuomo scandal. Acosta, a CNN anchor and its chief domestic correspondent, arrived at the conservative conference in Orlando, Florida, to a crowd that shouted, “CNN sucks." Then a correspondent for the conservative magazine The Federalist, David Marcus, cut him off mid-interview to inquire about CNN’s skimpy coverage of New York’s embattled Governor Cuomo . Primary in sleepy rural village becomes Britain’s first net-zero school
A LITTLE primary in a sleepy countryside village has become Britain’s first net-zero school. St Andrew’s CofE Primary School in Chedworth village in Gloucestershire has carried out a string of upgrades to slash emissions. The youngsters are recycling everything and have even ditched their gluesticks in favour of more environmentally friendly options. The school has changed their high ceilings to bring them closer to the floor to stop heat escaping, and solar panels are set to be installed. Headteacher, Mrs Nikita Smith, said she had been inspired by her own kids' passion for the planet. She wanted to show them everyone could make a difference to help go green. She told The Sun it was a "moral" decision for her to act now for future generations. Israel enters the era of vaccine passports as crowds of up to 300 pack into bars and nightclubs
Israelis are being asked for evidence of vaccinations status before being allowed into busy locations such as bars, shopping centres and theatres. Only those with a 'green passport' are permitted to enter certain locations as the country tries to reopen following the Covid-19 pandemic. People who have received the required two vaccinations receive the green passport which allows them greater freedom. Israel has been leading the world on the roll-out of Covid-19 vaccinations, but only half of its population of nine million people has so far received the required two jabs for a passport.
