Royal biographer Hugo Vickers says Prince Philip would be delighted by his "pared-down" funeral. Prince Philip , Duke of Edinburgh died at the age of 99 on Friday last week in the early hours of the morning at Windsor Castle. The funeral is due to take place on Saturday (April 17) in Windsor, but with the event scaled down to 30 guests due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, speaking to presenter Sean Fletcher on Good Morning Britain on Friday morning, biographer Hugo Vickers explained that this would suit the late royal consort down to a tea. "I saw the full rehearsal yesterday and I don't think you'll be disappointed," said Vickers. Annette Barrett, 40, caught the stand-in postie on her door-cam footage as she tried to track down a missing parcel. But instead, the homeowner from Walsall, West Mids., appeared to be met with fierce critique.
