A baby was born at the scene of the the M25 coach crash which saw 41 people injured. Kent Police confirmed the birth of a baby boy at the scene of the motorway crash after a coach struck a barrier and tumbled down an embankment. In a tweet they said: "Pleased to announce no serious injuries with overturned coach at junction 3 M25. "Proud to see all emergency services working so effectively together. And just to make things interesting a baby boy was born at the scene." Police, fire and ambulance crews remain at the scene, with the anti-clockwise slip road at junction 3 closed. Highways officials warned that queues of more than seven miles had built up in the aftermath of the crash, which happened at around 4pm close to the Dartford Crossing. The HSE has been notified this week of four measles cases in Dublin, affecting two adults and two children. These four individuals are likely to have developed measles from contact with one of the two earlier cases at hospitals in Dublin which were confirmed last month. The HSE has asked the public to continue to be vigilant about measles."Measles can be a serious illness and is highly infectious. The best protection is to be fully vaccinated with two doses of MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccine," said Dr Helena Murray, Specialist in Public Health Medicine.People at increased risk of getting measles are those who are not fully vaccinated with two doses of MMR vaccine or have not had measles in the past. Two adults and two children were taken to hospital following a collision earlier today (Thursday, April 19). Police, fire and ambulance services attended the two-vehicle accident in New Road, Childer Thornton , near The White Lion pub, about 9.40am. Thankfully nobody was trapped in the vehicles.
