For the whole of March, Action Fraud received reports totalling £829,508.02 in money lost through fraud. Victims affected were as young as 15, and as old as 88. And somewhat surprisingly, those aged between 20 and 39 were the most affected group - with frauds relating to online shopping and auctions the most common scam.
