98 year old ladies still fighting

Police have issued an urgent appeal for information after 33-year-old Sara McDermott went missing yesterday lunchtime. Ms McDermott was last seen leaving Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport. Officers said she was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a lilac jumper, black leggings and brown boots. The investigation team asked anyone with information to contact Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 5922 or 101. In a message released on Twitter, officers said: 'Police are concerned for Sara McDermott, 33, last seen leaving Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport. She was wearing a black leather jacket, lilac jumper, black leggings and brown boots.' A two-year old boy has died after being bitten by a dog on Monday in Egdon, Worcestershire, West Mercia Police said. The attack happened at an address in Egdon and the boy was treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital but died from his injuries, West Mercia Police said. Three dogs were seized and, though police did not confirm the breed, the force said they are not believed to be banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act. After the attack, the boy's family attempted to take him to hospital themselves, but stopped at Worcester Countryside Centre on the advice of the ambulance service. He was taken from there to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by ambulance, before being moved to Birmingham Children's Hospital. THIRTY-three people were shot in Chicago this weekend, including five fatally, in a spate of violence that has led to a new curfew in the city's popular tourist area. Among those killed this weekend was a 16-year-old boy, who police say was shot near the famous "Bean" statue at Millennium Park. A caretaker in Broussard was arrested on second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to a juvenile after a 10-month-old infant was found dead and a 2-year-old was injured. Broussard Police responded Monday night to an address on E. Third Street in reference to a welfare concern, according to a prepared statement from the police department. Officers found an infant who was deceased. They also found a 2-year-old with serious injuries. The 2-year-old is hospitalized in critical condition. Police arrested the caretaker, 49-year-old Tammy Clause of Broussard. She was booked at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. Investigation into this incident is ongoing.
