It focused on a group of toddlers: the babbling, bald-as-an-egg Tommy, still in nappies; the shy, timid Chuckie, scared of clowns and just about everything else in life; the sardonic identical twins Phil and Lil; and the sneaky Angelica, who was anything but angelic and tormented the others (although she usually got her comeuppance in the end). In their innocent eyes and fertile imaginations, everyday occurrences were transformed into grand, sometimes perilous, adventures. Rugrats was an absolute delight, clever, funny and charming. Grimsby television station Estuary TV was paid £300,000 by the BBC in possible licence fee payer money over three years for thousands of news stories which may have never been used by the corporation. A Freedom of Information request which was sent to Grimsby Live reveals from November 2013 to October 2016, Estuary TV received £300,000 from the BBC after sending 4,000 local news stories, which equates to £75 per story. The channel sent the public broadcaster the stories as part of a local TV deal established in 2013, that involved more than 30 television stations across the UK. These TV stations were allocated licence fee payer money which was set aside in the 2010 Licence Fee Settlement. A TRANSGENDER Britain's Got Talent trio is being likened to the Spice Girls after wowing Simon Cowell during auditions. Miss Tres, made up of Mavey, 36, Mariko, 43, and Crissy, 35, can be seen in tonight's show performing Tom Jones's 90s hit Sex Bomb. The sassy three-piece certainly catch the judges' eye, with Amanda exclaiming: "You’re just so hot. It’s unfair.” And Simon thinks the group could go all the way, with a source telling the Daily Mirror: "Cowell really thinks the girls could go far. They went down a storm with the audience. Here is what you need to know... Will Ant Mcpartlin present Britain's Got Talent? The audition rounds of the show were filmed in January and February, before Ant was arrested and subsequently plead guilty to drink-driving on March 18. Ant crashed his Mini in South West London, which left a three-year-old girl in hospital. This means that for a few weeks, during the audition rounds, Ant will be hosting BGT alongside Dec.
