As the world’s No1 entertainment firm, Disney is rightfully proud of being a Mickey Mouse outfit. Generations of people have loved their films, parks, resorts and merchandise. In 2017 the corporation, which also owns five film studios, a cruise liner and media franchises, had global revenues of £41billion. But creator Walt Disney himself was in no doubt about the debt owed to Mickey. BRITAIN'S Got Talent is back on our screens for the 2018 instalment of the talent show. But will Declan Donnelly be hosting the show without his sidekick Ant McPartlin? The audition rounds of the show were filmed in January and February, before Ant was arrested and subsequently plead guilty to drink-driving on March 18. Ant crashed his Mini in South West London, which left a three-year-old girl in hospital. This means that for a few weeks, during the audition rounds, Ant will be hosting BGT alongside Dec. However, when the live-semi finals kick off at the end of May, Dec will be presenting alone. Chuck McCann – best known for hosting various comedy shows and being the voice of multiple children’s cartoon characters – has died, aged 83. The prolific actor’s publicist confirmed he died from congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. McCann began as an entertainer on New York’s local television, starting as a side-kick until eventually hosting the variety show The Chuck McCann Show. From there, McCann moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in film, receiving critical acclaim in The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter and fantasy film The Projectionist, Foul Play, The Comeback, and Herbie Rides Again.
