FASHION designer Alexander Wang is facing further allegations of sexual misconduct as a student alleges he was groped on a nightclub dancefloor. Keaton Bullen, 21, a student at New York's Parsons School of Design, alleges he was assaulted by Wang, 37, at a club in the city in 2019. He claims the fashion tycoon “unzipped his trousers” and started “grabbing my penis” at Fishbowl club, he told the BBC . Mr Bullen, then 20, was with a friend at the club in New York City when he says he encountered Alexander Wang on 24 August 2019 at about 11.30pm. He told the BBC they initially talked about their shared college, Parsons School of Design in lower Manhattan, where Mr Bullen is currently studying interior design. Newquay has been revealed as the top seaside town of choice amongst Brits looking for UK holidays in 2021. Brexit: UK government urged to ‘act unilaterally’ over Northern Ireland protocol
The UK government has been told to "act unilaterally" over the controversial Northern Ireland protocol in its trade deal with the EU. Following the UK's departure from the European Union , the Brexit deal agreed saw trade checks enacted on products travelling between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. But to avoid a hard border on the island of Ireland, these regulatory and customs checks moved to the Irish Sea, with goods imported into Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK subject to a range of new processes. A grace period has been in place since 31 December, but there has still been disruption on transporting supermarket goods and this could intensify when it ends on 1 April. Unionists say the protocol is driving an economic wedge between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. UK holidays are jumping in price due to demand, with some costing as much as £600 more following the lockdown announcement. Yesterday, Boris Johnson confirmed that self-catered holidays could go ahead from April 12 , following by hotels from May 17. While there are still restrictions in place - one household only in April, rising to two households on holiday from May - it has already resulted in a huge rush to book in a holiday. Sykes Holiday Cottage bookings were up 150 per cent year-on-year with a booking taken every eight seconds after the PM's announcement, while Away resorts saw bookings up 243 per cent compared to last year. According to research team Mitel , domestic holidays are expected to hit a 10-year high, with Brits to spend more than £7bn - up £5.8bn in 2019. With Prime Minister Boris Johnson finally declaring the end of lockdown is firmly in our sights, many of us are desperate to book that long-awaited getaway. But just where and what can we do? Here are some of your holiday questions answered. When can we holiday at home? Domestic holidays will be allowed from April 12 - after Easter - although hotels and B&B’s will not open until at least May 17. When can we travel abroad? Foreign travel may also be given the go-ahead from May 17, although a review into restarting travel concludes on April 12. Depending on its findings, dates could change. Where can we go? Currently there are 33 countries on the high-risk list. Anyone travelling from these countries to the UK will need to quarantine in a government-approved hotel for ten days at a cost of £1,750.
