Police were called to another stabbing this afternoon as London's recent wave of violent attacks continues. The latest incident, in Croydon, happened at about 3pm this afternoon as ambulance crews attended the crime scene and reported a 24-year-old man had been stabbed. And the violence comes after police were called to five separate reports of stabbings in the nearby south London area between 6.56pm and 9.12pm on Friday. The Croydon branch of the Metropolitan Police tweeted: 'Shortly after 3pm, we were notified by London Ambulance Service of a stabbing in London Road near the junction with Oakfield Road. 'Officers attended and a crime scene is in place. A 24-year-old man has been taken to a south London hospital. We await an update on his condition.' The mother-of-two, who is only 4ft 11, admitted that her daughter Angeli, 28, finds it 'embarrassing' when people assume they are siblings. She insisted there is no 'secret' to her youthful looks but praised her 'good genetics' and said Angeli also looks much younger and is often mistaken for a school student. The British singer took on Etihad Airways ' '48-hour challenge', in which the airline has tasked UAE residents and international travellers to explore the best of the capital in just two days. It's also part of Etihad's wider stopover campaign which promotes Abu Dhabi as a 'holiday within a holiday' whether UAE residents want a staycation, or transit travellers have some spare time in between their journeys.
