A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder following the sudden death of a woman on Teesside. Police were called to a report of the death of a 55-year-old woman on Ingram Road in the Berwick Hills area of Middlesbrough at 9:30 am on Wednesday. An investigation was launched and a number of emergency service vehicles cordoned off the area. A forensic team also attended the scene around Ibstock House, a block of flats next to a derelict pub. It's not unusual to spot someone covered in tattoos nowadays. But way back when veteran tattoo artist, Doc Price, was young they were quite rare. Rare enough, at least, for a simple butterfly tattoo on a sailor to inspire him for a lifetime. Doc, who's one of the world's oldest tattoo artists, turned 86 on Wednesday, March 6. He's currently visiting friends - and fellow tattoo artists from Skin Creation - in Cardiff to celebrate. And Wales is a bit of a special place to the expert inker - who claims to have tattooed around 28 acres of human skin. Following a temporary venture on Barry Island, he opened his first shop in 1962, although he can't remember if it was in Cardiff or Newport (he's had shops in both cities). But despite his age, Doc is still taking customers. He lives in Plymouth now, where he runs a tattoo parlour with his son. Peter Beardall, 55, is using the scheme to improve his skills, rather get started in a brand-new career.Peter works for housing association L&Q. At the association the average apprentice age is 45.The 16 L&Q apprentices are all taking part via Barking and Dagenham College.Peter first step foot in the college 40 years ago to study carpentry.He said: “I’m going to be 56 soon, so this training will be useful for me both in the workplace and if things go wrong at home!
