Stomp Fit is marrying anthems from the days of Newcastle nightclub Ikon with a workout when it launches at Blaydon Community Centre on Thursday, June 27. The class promises one hour of 'the biggest and best dance anthems and a feel good workout like a night out'. So if you're struggling to find any gym motivation or not sure the treadmill or cross trainer are for you, this could be your chance to get fit by burning calories as you throw some shapes. A DAD has shared heartbreaking Snapchat footage of his 11-year-old daughter being savagely beaten by bullies on her way home from school. Demi Martin was attacked as she walked home from Haywood Academy in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, last Friday. The shocking clip shows the Year 7 pupil being pushed into a wall, pulled around by her hair and repeatedly hit as she tries to defend herself. Astonishingly, several young bystanders can be seen filming the attack on their mobile phones and it was later posted widely on social media. Demi, who doesn't know her attacker, said she was helped by a man and woman who gave her a drink and took her back to school. She suffered bruising, cuts and clumps of her hair were pulled out in the attack. Staffordshire Police have now launched an investigation into the incident. A THREE-year-old boy died after his mum's boyfriend pushed his car seat back in a "fit of childish temper", jurors were told today. Stephen Waterson, 25, son of ex-MP Nigel Waterson, allegedly crushed Alfie Lamb either because he wanted more leg room or because he was annoyed, the prosecution said. Duncan Atkinson QC told jurors that Alfie's mother Adrian Hoare, 23, failed her son "fundamentally and fatally" during the car journey to Croydon, south London, on February 1 last year. The couple are on trial at the Old Bailey accused of Alfie's manslaughter. In a closing speech, Mr Atkinson said Alfie was a "happy, active, smiley child".
