Graeme Souness has slammed Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, claiming he does not have the right mentality to play for the Premier League giants and cannot be relied upon by Erik ten Hag. Martial looked set to start United’s Premier League opener against Brighton on Sunday before pulling up with a muscular injury in training . The Frenchman spent the second-half of last season on loan at Sevilla and that temporary move appeared to pave the way for Martial’s permanent departure from Old Trafford. But Martial impressed Ten Hag in pre-season and the Dutch boss was reportedly planning to start him up top for United against Brighton before the injury setback. Souness is surprised by Ten Hag’s verdict on Martial as the former Liverpool defender does not believe the 26-year-old has the right mindset to flourish for a club like Manchester United. The Sky Sports pundit even compared Martial with ex-United midfielder Paul Pogba and says they are both … [Read more...] about Graeme Souness slams Manchester United star Anthony Martial: ‘You can’t rely on him – he’s dodgy like Paul Pogba’

Tenant ordered to pay for ‘considerable’ damage to St Andrews property
A woman has been found liable for almost $11,000 damage to a property she rented in St Andrews, south of Timaru. Marie Milne's tenancy of the property ended on February 5, 2021, but a final decision from the Tenancy Tribunal was only delivered in July. The decision says damage to the property included holes in the walls in a bedroom, laundry, kitchen, lounge and garage, while doors, pavers, a fence, gate and trellis were also damaged. Carpets and curtains were damaged and some had to be replaced, as did the oven. The landlord, Michelle Greer Real Estate Limited, of Timaru, successfully applied to the tribunal for rent arrears, compensation, a disposal of goods order, refund of the bond, and reimbursement of the filing fee following the end of the tenancy.
