Nate Davis USA TODAY Published 6:48 AM EST Jan 22, 2019 Crafting a list of the greatest players in Super Bowl history is a near-impossible endeavor. Do you favor the biggest stars? Those who shone brightest on Super Sunday? The ones with a sustained level of excellence? While undertaking this fool's errand, we weighed each consideration, attempting to also make it representative of all positions rather than skew too heavily toward quarterbacks or offensive players who more easily show up in the box score (and MVP log). With that prologue in mind, here's our list of the 53 greatest players in Super Bowl history: 1. THE tables are set, the decorations are in place and the gifts are ready to be unwrapped. The champagne corks pop as mothers, brothers, dads and daughters warmly embrace. But this is no ordinary family Christmas get-together — and for some it is the first time they are sharing the festive season together. Over the past eight years, ITV’s Long Lost Family has reunited more than 200 relatives after years apart and now, for the first time, it has brought together many of these families under one roof for a special Christmas lunch. Presenters Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell welcome their guests to what he jokingly describes as “the biggest family Christmas lunch in the history of family Christmas lunches.” At the dinner table, siblings Geoff Tonks, 74, and Barbara Jacobs, 72, giggle as they pull a cracker. … [Read more...] about Long Lost Family Christmas Reunion connects World War II siblings and brings together other relatives for ‘biggest’ Christmas lunch
The UK Independence Party (UKIP ) is a Eurosceptic and right-wing populist political party in the United Kingdom. It currently has three representatives in the House of Lords and sixteen Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), making it the third-largest UK party in the European Parliament. It has four Assembly Members (AMs) in the National Assembly for Wales and two members in the London Assembly. UKIP originated as the Anti-Federalist League, a single-issue Eurosceptic party established in London by the historian Alan Sked in 1991. It was renamed UKIP in 1993 but its growth remained slow. It was largely eclipsed by the Eurosceptic Referendum Party until the latter's 1997 dissolution. In 1997, Sked was ousted by a faction led by Nigel Farage, who became the party's preeminent figure. In 2006, Farage officially became leader and under his direction the party adopted a wider policy platform and capitalised on concerns about rising immigration, in particular among the White British … [Read more...] about UK Independence Party
