Not only as the first ever but it may also go into the record books as a Norfolk council attempts to break a Guinness World Record. Norfolk Day will be taking place on July 27. To celebrate the UK’s first Norfolk Day, South Norfolk Council are giving people the chance to get into the Guinness Book of Records by dressing up as hares. The Council is inviting people to join them at the Broads Authority’s Totally Broads Day at Whitlingham on Friday, July 27 to attempt to break the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as hares. Figures from Public Health England show that 11.1 per cent of registered patients in the area were suffering with at least one of the mental health conditions at the start of last year. The most recent survey showed that the rate in Hertfordshire had increased by 14.5 per cent since 2015. However, the local rate is lower than the national average.
