It's not the cheeriest topic of conversation, but it's fascinating nonetheless - what happens when you die? Science can only take us so far when trying to answer one of life's great unanswered questions. For instance, doctors might be able to tell us what happens to a body, physically, when a heart beats its last beat. But the deeper mystery lies in the question of what happens to a person's soul, if such a thing exists, when they leave this mortal coil. And our best chance of answering that probably involves listening to those who have 'died' and come back. Here, we've taken a look at what some top neurologists and doctors have to say on the subject. But we've also looked at what those who claim to have seen the after life claim. From surreal out of body experiences and strange beings to unrivalled serenity, this is what they say... Death 'just a process' Good news, folks - dying isn't as bad as you fear it'll be. At least that's according to Dr Kathryn Mannix, … [Read more...] about Experts reveal what happens when you die – ‘terrible creatures’ to crazy déjà vu theory

Woman left on life support after ‘excited’ dog crashes into her while playing
A dog owner says she ended up on life support after her playful pooch accidentally headbutted her while doing 'zoomies'. Erin Stevenson had been watching her Staffordshire bull terrier Skyy playing in the garden when she hurtled towards her and accidentally headbutted her in the chin. The 41-year-old says her neck started to ache the next day but she assumed she had a sore throat and planned to see a doctor. When the speech therapist woke up at 3am on the third day with a swollen neck and unable to swallow, she went to the hospital where she assumed she'd be given antibiotics and sent home. A CT scan revealed that two of Erin's molars had been cracked by the impact and she'd developed an infection causing extreme swelling and doctors worried that her airways could close. In the latest attack, one troll said he doesn't like to 'criticise appearances', then goes on to do exactly that. He shared a picture of the Prime Minister with Jenny and daughters Abbey and Lily at the Liberal campaign launch on Sunday. Ghostbusters is the latest 80s movie to get a 4 vs. 1 video game adaptation
A new Ghostbusters game is on the way and it’s by the same team that made the asymmetric multiplayer Predator and Friday The 13th tie-ins. First it was Friday The 13th, then Predator, then Texas Chainsaw Massacre (technically that’s a 70s film), and now it’s the turn of Ghostbusters to be turned into an asymmetric multiplayer game. All but Texas Chainsaw Massacre are made by American developer Illfonic (who accidentally leaked news of the game last year), so it’s not hard to imagine how Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is going to work. There shouldn’t be any worry that the game will be 100% accurate to the original movies either. As you’d expect, four players are cast as Ghostbusters while the fifth plays as a ghost, with options including Slimer but not the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man (who technically isn’t a ghost anyway). The game features both Winston and Ray in supporting roles, with Ernie Hudson and Dan Aykroyd providing the voiceovers. The characters you play … [Read more...] about Ghostbusters is the latest 80s movie to get a 4 vs. 1 video game adaptation
