Netflix’s Top Boy cast were out in force at the series three premiere on Wednesday night, where they were joined by executive producer Drake. The hit show is being revived by the streaming service after being unexpectedly dropped by Channel 4 in 2011, and the Canadian musician is to thank for its comeback. The 32-year-old posed on the red carpet at the Hackney Picturehouse after arriving just behind Ashley Walters, one of the show’s original stars. They were also joined by Michael Ward and Little Simz, whose characters are new additions for series three. Reinaldo Marcus, who has directed the third season, was also present to celebrate the release. The highly-anticipated reboot of London-based drama Top Boy will land online on September 13, with stars Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson set to reprise their roles alongside a line-up of cast members that includes rappers Little Simz and Dave.
