Cheryshev returns to Valencia on loan Girona are set to sign English attacking starlet Patrick Roberts on a season-long loan switch, with a move to the Catalan club from Manchester Cityset to be finalised on Wednesday. The 21-year-old, who was once touted as one of England's next big things, arrived at Manchester City in the summer of 2015 following a 10 million euro switch from Fulham. He will link up with the Catalan outfit following two and a half seasons at Scottish side Celtic, where he contributed to the Glaswegian side's three-straight Scottish Premiership triumphs, having scored 15 goals in 55 matches. Roberts will be hoping a season-long loan deal will help reignite a young career which has thus far been hampered by a series of injury problems, as he could play just 12 games last season. Nevertheless, his arrival is expected to add greater competition in Eusebio Sacristan's youthful side and he could be used as a temporary option should Portu decide to leave before the … [Read more...] about Patrick Roberts will be Girona’s first new arrival

Real Madrid are clear that Marco Asensio needs to push on this season and … [Read more...] about Lopetegui’s four tactical options: A front three? Bench Modric?

A 29-year-old British man, not previously known to the security services, was arrested at the scene by armed officers. Three people were injured. Police, who initially said the man was refusing to co-operate, were holding him at a London police station on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack. Sputnik has discussed this with Robert Spitzer, political science researcher at State University of New York College at Cortland.
