The winners will clinch promotion to the Premier League, leaving the losers to prepare for another year in the second tier. An elderly driver was taken to hospital after his car hit a parked vehicle and overturned in Coventry. Fire crews and paramedics were called to the crash in Upper Eastern Green Lane, Eastern Green, this morning. Witnesses to the crash told medics that the driver had "suffered a medical event prior to the incident". Firefighters from Canley station attended and told CoventryLive that the driver was able to free himself from the overturned car and hadn't suffered any serious injuries. A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Upper Eastern Green Lane at 11.40pm to reports of a car on its roof. "One ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene and treated one patient - a man - who crews were told by bystanders had suffered a medical event prior to the incident. "He was taken to University Hospital in Coventry for further assessment."
