Emmerdale may have concluded its Super Soap Week but the effects will be felt for a long time to come.
Friday's episode confirmed that Andrea Tate had died in the maze fire as her body was identified.
Unbeknownst to many, the only reason the fire started and why Andrea was in the maze was because of her struggles with serial killer Meena Jutla who had tried to kill Andrea.
Meena emerged from the maze unscathed and convinced others of her ignorance of what happened.
However, unbeknownst to Meena, footage exists of her trying to drown her love rival Victoria Sugden after the bridge collapse disaster.
Meanwhile, Kim Tate continues to push others away as she tries to get custody of Millie Tate and refuses to believe that her son Jamie is dead.
The drama is just beginning…
Survival Week Aftermath
In the aftermath of the disastrous Survival Week that saw a bridge collapse and brutal fire, the police are asking questions.
Andrea Tate is dead, Priya Sharma is badly burned and Meena Jutla has gotten away with her crimes – for now.
DS Rogers continues his investigations and soon a finger begins to be pointed about who is to blame.
Eventually, an arrest is made over what has happened – but who is in the firing line and do they deserve it?
Has Meena finally been exposed?
Diane Sugden exit story

However, these plans clash with Gabby Thomas' plans to flee the country with her grandmother in secret.
Gabby attends a family dinner at Laurel's and plans to say a goodbye to her family and grows tearful after about what she's leaving behind.
Gabby Thomas labour pains
Returning to Home Farm, Gabby ends up getting into a tense argument with Kim Tate who continues to behave irrationally, prompting Gabby to ban her from the baby's life.
Gabby contacts Diane and plans to flee sooner by packing in secret but has stomach pains.
Attempting to drag her large suitcase out of Home Farm, Gabby falls to the floor and goes into labour but with her phone dead and a power cut leaving the house in darkness, Gabby is in a precarious position.
Diane and Bernice have an emotional moment together before they head off to pick up Gabby and flee the village as a trio.
Little do they know, Gabby is in the middle of an intense health battle.
Will Gabby and her baby be okay? And, if so, will they stay in the village?
