Charles and Camilla had a long withstanding relationship, after meeting in 1970 and the pair remained close during his relationship with Diana.
Within footage, derived from CNN’s new series “Diana”, writer and broadcaster Bidisha Mamata describes an "unbelievable" action carried out by Camilla, following Charles and Diana's engagement.
She says: "Camilla Parker Bowles left Diana a note saying 'Such exciting news. Love to see the engagement ring."
Ms Mamata deemed the action a "power move" and also likened the action to something seen in the 2004 film Mean Girls.

Bidisha said: "That's a real, like, mafia thug move. It's so 'Mean Girls', it's unbelievable."
Then royal correspondent Jennie Bond adds: "In Diana's own words, she told me any marriage Prince Charles might have made could never be as strong as the relationship he had with Camilla.
"And that's what she was battling with from the outset."
Charles and Camilla became engaged 35 years after they first met, and the pair's long term relationship – from friends to husband and wife – was tried on numerous occasions.

The pair met for the first time at a polo match at Windsor Great Park in 1970, following which they began dating before Charles left to serve in the Royal Navy for eight months.
Upon his return, Camilla was engaged to someone else, and wed Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973.
Charles – who was 31 at the time – began dating 18-year-old Diana in 1980, after being introduced by her older sister, Lady Sarah Spencer.
The pair married on July 29 1981, with an estimated 750 million people watching around the world—and with Camilla reportedly in attendance.

In 1989, Diana confronted the pair at a party, and the Princess recounted the showdown on an audio tape she made for Andrew Morton, her biographer.
She said: “I was terrified of her. I said, ‘I know what’s going on between you and Charles and I just want you to know that’.”
The Princess said Mrs Parker Bowles had a “very interesting” response: “She said to me: ‘You’ve got everything you ever wanted. You’ve got all the men in the world fall in love with you and you’ve got two beautiful children, what more do you want?’.

“So I said, ‘I want my husband’. And I said, ‘I’m sorry I’m in the way … and it must be hell for both of you. But I do know what’s going on. Don’t treat me like an idiot.”‘
Diana and Charles then separated in 1992, and Camilla and her husband broke off their marriage in 1995.
Diana died in a car crash in Paris, 1997 shortly after Charles hosted a 50th birthday party for Camilla at his country home, Highgrove.
Charles and Camilla appeared as a couple together for the first time publicly in 1999 when they were seen leaving a 50th birthday party thrown by the prince for Camilla's sister at the Ritz Hotel in London.
The couple moved into Clarence House together in 2003, where they still reside today, and announced their engagement in 2005.
They married in April the same year, but the Queen was not present at the ceremony but did attend the reception afterward.
