Tahith Chong could present Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with yet another Manchester United attacking option after a fantastic performance for Birmingham City against Wayne Rooney's Derby County in the Championship on Friday night.
Adidas and Manchester United have launched their official 2021/22 home jersey, putting a modern twist on their classic club styles.
The 21-year-old revealed that Solskjaer will be keeping tabs on his progress after completing a season-long loan move to the Midlands club last month.
Birmingham defeated the Rams 2-0 to record their first home victory of the season. Chong was the best player on the pitch and caused plenty of problems for Rooney's side.
Derby struggled to contain Netherlands youth international and resorted to some tasty challenges. Tom Lawrence, another former United youngster, was fortunate not to be sent off after leading with his elbow as he competed with Chong for a high ball.
But Chong could easily force his way into Solskjaer's thinking if he has a good season at Birmingham. He has lost his way a little after difficult loans with Werder Bremen and Club Brugge.

Chong has said that the United head coach is watching his performances and Solskjaer will have been impressed by his display on Friday night.
"It was nice to make sure I am still in thoughts with the gaffer,” Chong said upon joining Birmingham during the summer transfer window.
“Pre-season for me was to go there for a few weeks, it was try to get the first goal for the season, top up conditioning and to play the first 45 minutes.
“I spoke to him (Solskjaer), he wished me good luck for the season and said that he will be watching the games – that's good for me to hear.

“Juan Mata has helped a lot, he's nice. He's a brilliant professional on and off the pitch, he speaks not only to me but all the young guys that come up – Jesse Lingard and Marcus [Rashford] as well.
“There are loads more I could mention, United is a very family club, and everyone is very welcoming and wants to help you improve.”

Birmingham boss Lee Bowyer raved about Chong's performance. "He's a fantastic young player, isn't he?" he told Sky Sports .
"His end product is very good as well. But you know the biggest thing for me? Did you see him sprint 50-60 yards back when they hit us on the break and make that tackle?
"To me that's an all-round player. Everyone can have a luxury player but he brings something more than that.
"He's a young lad who is still learning the game. His attitude is spot on – he's been a credit to Man Utd since day one that he's come in with us. We love him."
Quizzed on whether Chong can cope with the physicality of the Championship, Bowyer hit back: "Did you see some of the challenges that were put in on him?
"One time he skipped past someone and they guy didn't even go for the ball. He took him out knee-high.
"Another one he gets elbowed in the face or wherever it hit him. I have to protect him a little bit. We want players like that to get on the ball and excite the fans.
"Whenever he gets on the ball he excited. But people can't just go around kicking him all the time. Referees are going to have to protect him a bit better."
