A throwback picture of William wearing a policeman outfit during a childhood visit has recently emerged, which showed him looking remarkably similar to his oldest son. The pair have also worn similar outfits in photos over the years. At Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May 2018, George wore an outfit that was described as a scaled-down copy of William’s frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals.
The young royal, who turned eight in July, also looked at ease in new pictures taken for his birthday last month.
In the new picture, he perched on the bonnet of a Land Rover Defender in a sweet nod to his great grandfather Prince Philip, who died in April.
George was also pictured beaming at Kate, who was behind the camera in the new photograph.
He was casually dressed in a polo-style striped top and shorts.

The Duchess is a keen photographer and regularly produces images of George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to mark milestones in their lives.
The image was taken outdoors in Norfolk, where the Cambridges have their family home, Anmer Hall, which is close to the Queen’s Sandringham residence.
George was also recently captured cheering on England at the recent Euro 2020 final against Italy.
Royals fans shared their delight at seeing the young royal looking smart in a suit and tie as he watched with his parents.

He then was pictured hugging them both when England scored early in the game.
But then he was seen looking sad after the team narrowly lost to Italy on penalties.
George also received some online trolling following the game, which Kate and Wills were said to be upset by.
Royal biographer Angela Levin announced on True Royal TV, said: “They've been so upset by the rudeness of people mocking a little boy.

The source said: “Of course, William and Kate are nervous about what the future holds for George.
“He's growing up in a different era to his parents.

“The Cambridges feel it's necessary to shield George, Charlotte and Louis from the spotlight and have become cautious about the appearances [they] make.
“Kate and William are being more selective about the events he attends.”
