WITH staycations back on the cards, many Brits will be looking to book a break this summer – meaning prices have surged for trips in peak season. There are plenty of seaside resorts that won’t break the bank though. According to new data from holiday rentals company Vrbo , the most in demand UK staycation destination where British families found the best value for money is Skegness in Lincolnshire. This was based on destinations where Vrbo holidaymakers paid £35 or less per person, per night in 2020, compared to 2019. Skegness, Lincolnshire was the best value with an average price paid per person per night in 2020 of £21.
