The Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey "I love to rescue" during their explosive interview, which aired last week. Meghan was referring to her animals, as she has had multiple rescue dogs over the years and also rescued several chickens from a factory farm, which the family now have in the garden of their Montecito home. The inclusion of this little segment in the broadcast indicates that they were trying to get across the idea that Meghan likes to rescue generally.
Prince Harry himself said he had been "trapped" in his life as a royal and that he would not have felt able to leave if it were not for Meghan.
On the other hand, the Duke of Sussex also said he chose to leave to protect his wife and baby.
He told Oprah: "By that point, I took matters into my own hands. I was like, I need to do this for my family.
"This is not a surprise to anybody. It's really sad that it's got to this point but I've got to do something for my own mental health, my wife's and for Archie's as well. Because I could see where this was headed."

In his interview with James Corden for The Late, Late Show he added he "did what any husband [or] father would do".
From one angle, Meghan has saved Harry in realising there was another way he could live and in another Harry saved Meghan by making the decision to take them out of the situation that was damaging her mental health.
Pod Save the Queen is hosted by Ann Gripper and features Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers.
Ms Gripper argued that each believes they saved the other one.

She said: "I think it's interesting that kind of ‒ who is the rescuer and who is the rescuee?
"There was a really tiny moment when they were out in the chicken barn when Meghan was just like, 'I love to rescue'.
"And you're like, she thinks she has rescued Prince Harry and Prince Harry equally feels like he has rescued her and their family and taken them to America for their new life."
Harry felt the need to take Meghan out of the situation because she was struggling so much with her mental health.

The Duchess admitted to Oprah that it got so bad when she was pregnant with Archie that she "didn't want to be alive anymore”.
She said: "Look, I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry, especially, because I know how much loss he's suffered.
"But I knew if I didn't say it, that I would do it. And I just didn't want to be alive anymore.
"And that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought.
