Two of the top quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft class will go head to head this weekend when the Miami Dolphins square off against the Los Angeles Chargers. Those of faces, of course, are none other than Dolphins signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa and Chargers passer Justin Herbert — both top 10 picks in April — as they look to continue the success that made them household names at Alabama and Oregon, respectively. Ask one of the two rookie stars, though, and he’d prefer not to view the matchup as a battle of up and coming NFL quarterbacks. That’s at least the approach Tagovailoa is taking as his team plays host to Los Angeles — both teams set to start rookies who didn’t get the starting nod until after Week 1. “I think that (narrative) is just something that’s going to have to be dealt with in the media,” Tagovailoa told theMiami Herald. “I have no animosity towards Justin Herbert and for me, it’s not even a competition between me and him.
