President-elect Joe Biden has fractured his foot while playing with one of his dogs and will likely need to wear a boot for several weeks, his doctor has said.Mr Biden visited an orthopaedist in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday afternoon after suffering the injury the day before.A CT scan found tiny fractures of two small bones in the middle of his right foot, his doctor Kevin O’Connor said in a statement.”It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks,” Mr O’Connor added.The Democrat’s political opponent Donald Trump later tweeted him to say “Get well soon”, in a move considered surprising by some.
