Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd lives a life filled with lavish parties, overseas trips and A-list friends but the dating app queen bee has now been dragged into a saga involving her Russian billionaire business partner and claims of sex, drugs and misogyny. Wolfe Herd has made a name for herself thanks to Bumble – the female empowering dating app she helped launch five years ago and maintains a 20 percent stake in. The 30-year-old, who according to Forbes is worth $300 million, helped launch the dating app with the backing of Russian online dating tycoon Andrey Andreev. But Wolfe Herd has found herself having to defend Andreev this week following allegations published in Forbes that he oversees a misogynistic and sleazy culture within Bumble’s parent company, Badoo. Among the explosive allegations made by former staffers are that the objectification of women was routine and there were cocaine and ketamine-fueled parties with prostitutes in the office.
