Hull FC half-back Liam Harris has joined York City Knights on loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old has struggled to assert himself on the FC first team having to contend with Marc Sneyd, Albert Kelly and Jake Connor for a role in the halves. Injury has not helped the former Hull KR player who will now head to Championship side York in order to try and get some necessary game time. Harris, who has a contract with Hull until the end of the 2020 season, has joined York until the end of this season but as part of the terms of the deal FC can recall the player following the first month of his loan. having returned from injury to play for FC’s reserves last week, Harris will hope to push for a place in the York team when they take on Featherstone Rovers at this weekend’s Summer Bash in Blackpool.
