A man in east China has lost his left eye after he tripped at home and didn’t realise his eyeball had fallen out. The 26-year-old man was in a very drunken state when he slipped and fell at home in Lixia district in Jinan, Shandong province late at night on Monday, according to Chinese reports. Horrified family members rushed him to hospital the next morning after they discovered him lying in a pool of blood. However, doctors said the man’s eye was beyond repair as it had been detached for too long.
