Rumoured swap deals seem to be all the rage at the moment and the latest again involves Castleford Tigers. Hull FC back Fetuli Talanoa was previously embroiled in a three-way rumour deal, with Sebastine Ikahihifo and Joe Wardle said to be heading to FC and Huddersfield respectively, while Talanoa was reportedly set for Castleford. The Black and Whites, however, are not linked this time but instead one of their former players in Jordan Rankin is in the mix for a switch to Castleford, according to the speculation. The Tigers are known to be chasing outside backs and Rankin could fit the bill, though it has been reported that Joe Wardle would go the other way. Rankin can also play in the halves and with star scrum-half Luke Gale sidelined for a long period, extra cover is needed at Castleford.
