SCOOP — Lobby reshuffle: The Sun has poached the Daily Mail’s executive political editor, Jack Doyle, to join its lobby team. Playbook hears that Doyle will replace the departing Harry Cole as Whitehall editor and is due to start in February. A home affairs specialist, Doyle is an experienced lobby reporter who also writes leaders for the Mail. DRIVING THE DAY IT’S BUSINESS TIME: Theresa May takes her Brexit PR blitz to the heart of big business today as Westminster anxiously awaits a possible confidence vote in her leadership.
