Arsenal are eyeing two of Europe’s top young talents – Rennes starlet Ismaila Sarr and Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz. Gunners head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is already well ahead with his plans for the future, and Mirror Football can reveal that winger Sarr and midfielder Havertz are in his sights. Sarr, is a 20-year-old who has already attracted attention from Barcelona – and Rennes will cash in on him in the next 12 months. He has already hit the back of the net three times in just ten appearances so far this season – including one in the Europa League. Meanwhile Havertz has already played over 50 games for Leverkusen and has won his first cap for Germany, and he’s still only 19-years-old. Havertz has gone one better than Sarr, having scored four goals in as many games as the Senegalese man – and equalling his overall total for last season. Three of those have come in the Europa League, as he helped Leverkusen to wins over Ludogorets and AEK Larnaca. He made his debut for the German senior side back in September, replacing Timo Werner for the closing minutes of their win over Peru.
