Stuck with what to do on Bank Holiday Monday? This year’s Epworth Agricultural Show is bringing a packed day of events for everyone to enjoy. The show, which takes place at the Epworth Showground on Monday, August 27, started before the Second World War on Battle Green and was a small event, catering for the local area. It still has agriculture at the heart of it with cattle, sheep, goats, shire horses and vintage tractors all making a appearance, mixed up with a variety of entertainment including show-jumping, mountain and moorland ponies, trade stands, children’s entertainment, a dog show and a bonnie baby competition.
