Fans of Coronation Street have asked a strange question of producers after noticing something bizarre about the new Victoria Street set. The new set was unveiled earlier this year, giving fans the chance to watch their favourite Weatherfield regulars sip coffee in Costa, or shop for some of their groceries in the Co-Op. But eagle-eyed viewers have paid close attention to the set and noticed something so strange many took to social media to talk about it. None of the characters go in the actual buildings. Characters, such as Maria Sutherland, David Platt and Shona Ramsey, have been spotted sipping on a brew or two from the coffee chain, yet viewers claim they are yet to see any of the characters actually enter the shops so fans can be delighted by their interiors. In tonight’s episode, Steve McDonald when on a hunt to help Seb Franklin find his mum, Abi, after her unsupervised visit with her twins went a little badly. The kids ran off while playing hide and seek and were disappointed not to have their birthday presents, so Abi broke down in tears and called the social worker to have them return to their foster parents. She headed to the Rovers Return to let out her disappointment and drown her sorrows in a pint or two, after which Steve and Seb frantically scoured the streets looking for her.
