PARIS (AP) The latest on the deadly attacks in Paris. (All times local): 1:04 a.m. Both France and Russia are pursuing U.N. Security Council resolutions that seek to unite the international community in combating the Islamic State group. But Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin says ignoring the Syrian government in the effort is ”weakening the possibility of our joint fight against terrorism.” Russia on Wednesday circulated its draft resolution to all 15 council members, and France is expected to circulate its own shortly. French Ambassador Francois Delattre told reporters that Russia’s draft ”is a contribution that we will examine very attentively.” France hopes that its own text will be adopted by the council as early as next week. It has not shared details. Current council president Britain says members want to take action quickly on a ”strong as possible” response to the recent Paris attacks. — 11:59 p.m. France’s Interior Minister condemned anti-Muslim and anti-Semitic attacks in Marseille Wednesday but made no link between them and last week’s violence that has put the nation on edge.
